Partial Dentures
Many times when people are missing many teeth they cannot place one or more bridges, cannot have implants and going to full dentures would be premature. In this case, Dr. Fitzgerald may recommend to you a Partial Denture. As the name implies, it is a denture (meaning tooth replacement) and it is for fewer than all the teeth. Partials can be from one to twelve teeth, and can be used in upper and lower jaws. A partial is made with an acrylic base and resin teeth like a conventional denture, but it also may have a metal reinforced base. Dr. Fitzgerald can recommend the correct design for you.
