Dentures are usually used to replace multiple missing teeth.
Full Dentures - Used to replace teeth when you are missing all the teeth in either one or both jaws. Dentures are either porcelain or composite resin teeth that are processed onto gum colored acrylic that are fit to the shape of your mouth.
*Implant Retained Dentures - With Implant retained Dentures, the Dental implants are placed in the jaw and the denture is attached to them. The implants not only provide more stability to the denture, but once the implant is placed it keeps the existing bone from being lost. Bone loss is one of the primary reasons that denture wearers have problems with their dentures.
