At the Fitzgerald Dental Center of Dallas, in Plano, we recommend that your child sees the Dentist at 18 months. This is critical for long term care. A child is not born with the bacteria that causes dental decay. They acquire the bacteria from contact with others. The time for transmission is 19-30 months. We encourage you to have your child evaluated by one of the Pediatric Dentists that we recommend to minimize your Child’s exposure to this harmful bacteria.
